Project Details
Alterations to the front of house areas at ground floor, basement, third floor and to the Waterloo Road entrance to create new step-free access to the building and improvements to WC facilities. Removal and rebuilding of the rear wall of the auditorium at stalls level to increase the size of front of house and create a new box office space; works to the auditorium stalls to re-rake the floor with associated works. Two new bars and a kitchen were also installed. We worked closely with The Old Vic to carry out the works while the theatre remained operational for the majority of the contract period.
