Project Details
This project consisted of the construction of a new hi-tech private house on a near landlocked site in West London. A new concrete basement was constructed by means of a contiguous bored piled wall with sections of deep underpinning to adjoining neighbours’ garden walls. The single storey superstructure was constructed of a steel frame with a barrel vaulted zinc roof. The Coach House, originally adjoining and separate to the main house, was also completely refurbished and incorporated in the new build. The project was completed with a high specification fit out that had a contemporary open plan theme.

Key Issues
• Restricted site access.
• Deep underpinning and piling works.
• Contemporary state of the art fit out.
• Existing Coach House incorporated in new build.
